Tajikistan and Uzbekistan sign new package of bilateral agreements
Following high-level Tajik-Uzbek talks on March 26, a new package of bilateral documents was signed. The agreements cover trade and investment, energy, transport, technology, agriculture, medicine, tourism and culture.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon stated that the two countries have built a solid legal and contractual framework for cooperation, and that the new documents will give fresh momentum to bilateral relations. He emphasized that trade and economic cooperation remains the top priority on the bilateral agenda.
