Kyrgyzstan journalists visited the National Museum of Tajikistan
A group of Kyrgyz journalists visited the National Museum of Tajikistan as part of their working visit to the country. The guests explored the history, culture and natural heritage of the Tajik people, as well as the achievements of the independence era.
Special attention was drawn to a unique gift — a felted panel titled "Mother's Prayer", presented by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon during a state visit in July 2025. The 78×116 cm artwork was handcrafted from wool using natural dyes. By order of the Leader of the Nation, it was transferred to the museum's permanent collection.
The journalists' visit runs from March 22 to 27. During this time, they will visit Tajik media outlets and historical sites in Dushanbe, Hissar, Nurek and the Varzob district. The guests also participated in the international festival "Navruz — Cultural and World Heritage".
The visit is reciprocal — a group of Tajik journalists visited Kyrgyzstan in July 2025. The main goal is to strengthen media cooperation and friendly ties between the two countries.
